The Partnership for Public Service recently announced the finalists for the 2016 Samuel J. Heyman Service to American Medals. The annual “Sammies” awards recognize outstanding contributions to the nation by members of the federal civil service. The winners in each of the categories will be announced at a gala later this fall.
