People with elderly or dying family members will soon be able to access living wills online. A new partnership with Google Health will create a living will feature that allows users to download a free, state-specific directive, fill out the documents and securely store them online. The hope is that the service will eliminate common problems in emergency healthcare situations, when it can be hard for family members to access a patient’s living will or when a patient cannot communicate with doctors.
