The recession means tough times for many Americans these days. But the job market could soon be growing, thanks to advancements in health IT. Medical economists and health futurists say companies are starting to recognize the need to invest in health IT. Once investment grows, it will translate into job growth for health systems, large medical groups, IT vendors, engineers, computer experts and consultants. The nation should see the biggest growth with the implementation of electronic medical records.
