Soldiers, veterans and military families who need mental health counseling will now have an easier time getting help. The Military Health System recently launched a Web-based assistance program and a new telemental health program. Patients will be able to meet with counselors via a Webcam, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week and have access to unlimited consultations. The program will provide patient assessments, short-term counseling and referrals to more intensive treatment, if necessary.
