If you’ve gone to the airport recently, you’ve most likely seen kiosks where you can check in for your flight without waiting in line. Those same kiosks could soon be popping up in your doctor’s office. Healthcare providers are hoping to speed up the registration process at doctors’ offices and hospitals with self-service computer stations. In addition to getting to see their doctors more quickly, the kiosks will also let patients update their electronic health record and billing information.
