Most agencies are about providing services to citizens. The Small Business Administration is different. They deal largely with entrepreneurs who are getting new businesses off the ground, or growing businesses that are still in their infancies. That means the services they provide are different than other agencies – and even the way they provide them is different.
Paul Christy, the Chief Technology Officer at the SBA, says the agency is getting great response from its customers from its YouTube channel, which offers how-to videos about dealing with the agency and building businesses.
Green IT is a priority in Mr. Christy’s shop, too; he offers an update on the agency’s efforts to use green technology to save money – and protect the environment.
