Cybersecurity Update – Tune in weekdays at 30 minutes past the hour for the latest cybersecurity news on The Federal Drive with Tom Temin and Amy Morris (6-10 a.m.) and DorobekInsider with Chris Dorobek (3-5 p.m.). Ponemon Institute’s List of Most Trusted Federal Agencies. The think tank’s 2010 Privacy Trust Study ranks agencies based on attention to privacy protection. The Federal Trade Commission and the Internal Revenue Service rounded out the top three positions, while Customs and Border Protection, the U.S. Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services and the National Security Agency were ranked as the least trusted. Overall, the public’s opinion of the federal government’s commitment to protecting personal privacy fell to an all time low of 38 percent.
