Robots are stealing American jobs in manufacturing and clerical work, according to Gizmodo and the Economist.

Robots are taking over jobs in the U.S.

David Autor, an M.I.T. economist, found in a study that certain occupations that consist of routine tasks are more vulnerable to automation, Gizmodo reports.

The occupations susceptible to takeover by robots include assembly-line workers and clerks, according to the Economist.

According to Gizmodo, “If automation is the future of manufacturing, medicine and other fields, less-educated Americans could be left in the dust.”
