Gov’t respond to CyberStorm tests

The results are in for CyberStorm III. Experts say this latest test of international cybersecurity measures found gaps in the interim plan; that’s allowed governments to revise how they respond to an attack. ZD Net reports, Australia’s Attorney General, Robert McClelland, says the event tested crisis management for government and industry during a cyberattack. Companies were tested on decision making and response coordination, along with the effectiveness of communications. The US director of the CyberStorm event, Brett Lambo, told Federal News Radio last year that the exercise would test the destruction of critical infrastructure.
