Activist hacker group Anonymous could be taking aim at U.S. infrastructure, according to a warning from the Homeland Security Department.
The agency’s cyber communications center said Anonymous could launch attacks on the intelligence community and critical infrastructure in the coming months, Infosecurity.com reports.
The group is responsible for stealing and publishing 90,000 military addresses and passwords from defense contractor Booz Allen Hamilton purportedly because of its role in supporting government surveillance programs.
