Working with the private sector is extremely important for most federal agencies, especially where security is concerned. The Department of Homeland Security hopes to lead the way in building partnerships. Douglas Smith is the new Assistant Secretary for the Private Sector Office at the Department of Homeland Security. He joins us to discuss his office’s role and what other agencies can learn about working with business.
