The Government Accountability Office’s job as a sort of governmentwide inspector general is well-known. People and companies in federal contracting also known it as a major forum for deciding bid and contract award protests. Now the GAO is about to modernize the process for filing and tracking protests. Ken Patton, GAO associate general counsel for procurement law, joined Federal Drive with Tom Temin for more information.
