Federal Fraud Prevention In Action

The government’s response to fraud during the economic crisis was on the agenda for the Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday. Their hearing, “The Need for Increased Fraud Enforcement in the Wake of the Economic Downturn,” included testimony from Deputy Director of the FBI, John Pistole; Special Inspector General for the Troubled Assets Relief Program Neil Barofsky; and Rita Glavin, Acting Assistant Attorney General of the Criminal Division at the Justice Department.
