The U.S. Army has launched an ambitious project to update its hardware and software systems across 400 tactical units. An upgrade of that scale would normally take about five years but the Army plans to do it in just two. Col. Troy Crosby, project manager for Mission Command, joined Federal News Radio’s Jared Serbu on Federal Drive with Tom Temin to talk about what’s involved in the project.
