Analysis: Are feds ‘smart’ or ‘slugs’?

GovExec\'s Tom Shoop discusses comments made last week by the President about federal employees.

President Obama is taking some heat from comments he made to campaign donors. The President says you and your colleagues are mostly smart and dedicated people, but some of your co-workers are slugs and are not trying to do their jobs. He added that’s true of all large organizations. Tom Shoop is the Editor in Chief of Government Executive Magazine.
