Hackers have hit computers at the German federal police and customs service. Officials say the attack went months without being detected. Infosecurity reports, hackers gained access to federal police computers in September of 2010 and have been stealing information undetected for months. The group also posted files stolen from the German customs service on the internet. Cheap software with insufficient security controls are being blamed for the breach.
