Trojan virus is hackers’ weapon of choice

Panda Labs researchers say the Trojan virus accounts for three out of every four new virus strains created last quarter.

The Trojan virus is the weapon of choice for hackers who want your information, SC Magazine reports.

Panda Labs researchers say the Trojan virus accounts for three out of every four new virus strains created last quarter. They also say hacker group Anonymous isn’t letting arrests hold them back from stealing information.

More than 30 members of the group have been arrested, but they have doubled their efforts. Panda Labs finds that malware programs for Mac computers are on the rise and the Android platform lacks encryption which make it an easy target for hackers.
