Fun stuff: go to the beach and hang out indoors

The Federal News Network speaks with Recreation News Publisher Karl Teel about interesting things to do in and near the nation’s capital. This week:

• it may seem like the wrong time of year to head “down the ocean,” but not if you’d enjoy a film festival (through tomorrow, in Ocean City, Maryland).

  According to its website, the Ocean City Film Festival is screening movies at a number of venues, including the Fox Gold Coast Theater, Clarion Resort, Princess Royale Hotel, Carousel Hotel, Francis Scott Key Family Resort and Seacrets.
