Napolitano: President close to finalizing executive order on cyber

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said the White House is close to finalizing an executive order on cybersecurity.

According to The Hill, Napolitano said there were a few outstanding issues and President Barack Obama has not yet reviewed the document.

Napolitano spoke at a Senate hearing on cybersecurity.

She urged lawmakers to pass a comprehensive bill that could go beyond an executive order. She said Congress can help DHS hire more cybersecurity professionals.
