How good is your emissions reporting?

The General Services Administrations wants to gather data on federal contractors\' greenhouse gas emissions.

The General Services Administration is seeking approval to gather greenhouse gas emissions data and measurement methods from companies, Federal Computer Week reports.

The hope is, in the future, to offer training and incentives to federal contractors to disclose emissions data.

GSA is launching a pilot program and will hold focus groups with the top 200 federal contractors that voluntarily participated in an emissions survey, according to the report.
