Nominees for three more jobs at the Justice Department have been put up from the White House. The testimony of Lanny Breuer to be Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Division, Christine Varney to be Assistant Attorney General in the Antitrust Division, and Tony West to be Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Division at the Department of Justice. Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy wasn’t at the hearing; Wisconsin Senator Herb Kohl presided.
