DHS simulates terror attack in subway systems

DHS scientists are testing how air moves in subways in D.C. and Boston in case of a bio-weapons attack.

CSO reports that scientists with the Department of Homeland Security tested the air flow in subways in Washington and Boston in case of a biological-weapons attack.

DHS scientists released colorless, odorless gasses that were harmless but moved the same way as any chemical agent, according to CSO.

Washington has the newest subway system in America, and Boston has the oldest of its kind, according to the article. By testing in these two very different subway systems, scientists can devise shutdown procedures for the rest of the country.
