Cybersecurity strategy targets on domain names

DHS has published its new IT Sector Risk Management Strategy for Domain Name Resolution Services.

The Department of Homeland Security and the Information Technology Sector Coordinating Council (IT SCC) have published the IT Sector Risk Management Strategy for Domain Name Resolution Services.

The document outlines response methods for the three domain name resolution services risks of concern.

Some of those concerns are the mismanagement of data files or logs, improper disposal and destruction of hard drives.

DHS collaborated with the IT Sector Coordinating Council on the strategy.
