Critics of the new DoD cybersecurity policy contend it lacks detail and relies too much on defensive measures. But not everyone is joining the chorus of naysayers.

Steve Bucci, senior cyber consultant for IBM Global Business Services’ public sector division, said he believes the Pentagon’s plan is up to the job of cyber defense.

He recently penned a blog post explaining his reasoning, in which he called the policy a “home run,” and discussed the five initiatives that make it a success.

He shared his thoughts on In Depth with Francis.
