Federal agents are looking to use social networking more as a source of intelligence. An article in Computer World reports the government is actually behind the times when it comes to the cyber social scene.

DHS is in the process of crafting guidelines for monitoring. They seem to be responding to a wake-up call after social networks played such a huge roll in Egypt and other uprisings in the Middle East this year. So the next time you post that status or send that tweet, make room for big brother, he’s moving back in.
