Remembering the ‘forgotten’ TSP fund

Tom Trabucco of the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board outlines the F Fund.

The F Fund may have been overlooked by a lot of federal employees. Tom Trabucco, director of external affairs at the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board, tells In Depth with Francis Rose, joked the F stood by “forgotten.”

The F Fund consists of government, corporate, and mortgage-backed bonds. As of the end of last month, the G Fund had $129 billion, and the F Fund had $19 billion, Trabucco said.
