Grain mostly higher, livestock higher

Wheat,corn and oats higher and soybeans lower on the CBOT; beef and pork higher on the CME.

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly higher Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May was up 6.25 cents at 4.0875 a bushel; May corn rose 5.75 cents at 3.65 a bushel; May oats was gained 3.75 cents at $2.2250 a bushel; while May soybeans fell 6.75 cents at $9.5450 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. April live cattle was up .82 cent at $1.2982 a pound; April feeder cattle rose .47 cent at $1.3872 a pound; while May lean hogs was .82 cent higher at $.6522 a pound.
