Grain mostly higher, livestock higher

Wheat,corn and oats higher and soybeans unchanged on the CBOT; beef and pork higher on the CME.

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly higher Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May was up 5.75 cents at 4.1350 a bushel; May corn rose 3 cents at 3.62 a bushel; May oats was gained 2.25 cents at $2.23 a bushel; while May soybeans was unchanged at $9.4575 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. April live cattle was up 3.58 cents at $1.3560 a pound; April feeder cattle rose 1 cent at $1.4085 a pound; while May lean hogs were 2.23 cents higher at $.6690 a pound.
