Women working in the federal government still earn less than their male counterparts, but the pay gap is shrinking.
The Government Accountability Office has done a report on the gender pay gap.
It found the difference in average annual salary is 11 cents on the dollar.
That’s down from 19 cents.
The GAO was on Capitol Hill on Tuesday, presenting its findings to the Joint Economic Committee.
