Contracting program to help veteran-owned small businesses

The Department of Veterans Affairs has a new strategy.

The goal is to improve the number of veteran owned businesses that can do government work.

And the Department of Veterans Affairs is implementing a new strategy that they believe can make it happen.

It’s called T4 — Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology.

Wendy McCutcheon is the executive director of the Technology Acquisition Center at VA, and we asked her to explain how they came up with the idea for this strategy.
