In September, the Air Force finished work on a document that aims to provide focus to how it will use its science and technology resources in the realm of cyberspace.
The study, called Cyber Vision 2025, was led by Dr. Mark Maybury, the Air Force’s chief scientist. He’s our guest for the full hour on this week’s On DoD. Maybury describes the areas in which the Air Force plans to lead, follow and watch in cyberspace research and development. He says while the plan is primarily for the Air Force, it’s also intended to synchronize with the DoD chief information officer’s desired end state in cyber for the entire military.
