The Partnership for Public Service recently announced the finalists for the 2016 Samuel J. Heyman Service to America Medals.
David Hindin has led the Environmental Protection Agency’s Next Generation Compliance program since 2012, which streamlines implementation and enforcement of regulations, makes use of pullution-detecting technologies, leverages data analytics and transitions from paper to electronic reporting and record-keeping.
“David has really brought a change in approach and is working toward a cultural change in how we think about and achieve environmental protection in this country, particularly in the compliance process,” said Thomas Burack, commissioner of the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services.
