Mission accomplished. That’s what one national health IT group is saying. The National Health Alliance for Health Information Technology has deemed its goal of moving health IT into a front and center role as a mission accomplished. The organization will close its doors next week after seven years. The group’s chief operating officer says the main reason they are shutting down is because efforts are shifting from the educating and advocating of health IT and more toward the planning and implementation stages.
