Can telehealth improve keep heart failure patients out of the hospital and improve their quality of life? A study conducted at a hospital in Spain found patients’ conditions significantly improved over a 12-month period. The study monitored 92 patients who used the interactive system to connect with doctors via their television and broadband Internet connection. Patients took their vitals and recorded other information, which they then relayed to their health providers through the system.
