White House gets graded on cybersecurity policies

National Security Cyberspace Institute grades the Obama administration on cyber initiatives.

Get those number two pencils ready — It’s evaluation time for the Obama administration’s handling of cybersecurity.

The National Security Cyberspace Institute has graded the White House in the B to D range depending for its cybersecurity policies.

The higher grades are for the Defense Department’s new Cyber Command. the Command consolidated all of DHS cyber responsibilities under one directorate.

But for the administration the real problem is the lack of leadership and competing priorities among the various agencies and departments.
