The White House may be stepping away from plans for a fixed missile shield in Europe. The president has reportedly informed European leaders of the decision. But at least one defense source says they are not scrapping plans — instead they’re setting up something to better fight Iranian missiles. We’re expecting an official announcement from the Pentagon this morning at 10:30. That’s where we find Associated Press Correspondent Sagar Meghani, who joins us to sort out the the story.
