You’ve probably heard about improvised explosive devices, but what about an improvised nuclear device? What’s the best way to save lives if one exploded in the U.S.? That topic came up in Washington recently at a conference by the Center for Biosecurity at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Weapons of Mass Destruction Center CEO Randy Larsen spoke about it with conference organizer Dr. Tom Inglesby, leader of the center, for our Science and National Security series.
