Help crowdsource a combat vehicle

From concept to construction current military vehicle manufacturing processes take several years. By leveraging the power of the crowd, DARPA hopes to speed it up.

DARPA will use crowd sourcing to come up with a new military vehicle. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency has issued a design challenge with a $10,000 prize. The winner must produce a working concept vehicle capable of performing two missions. The Crowd-Derived, Combat-support Vehicle must function in reconnaissance and combat delivery and evacuation. DARPA wants service members, racing and auto enthusiasts to try their hand at designing a vehicle. But no prior experience is needed. .
