IT pros this week are looking for new ways to stop hackers from breaking into your computers.

They’re brainstorming ideas at the ISC2 Security Congress program in Orlando, Fla.

And among the many participants is the Homeland Security Department’s National Cyber Security Division.

Joe Jarzombek, the director of software assurance at the division, joined the Federal Drive with Tom Temin and Amy Morris to discuss the workshops DHS is sponsoring at the conference.

Jarzombek also discussed the big issues developers face as well as DHS efforts to secure critical infrastructure.
