More agencies now consider telework a key part of their emergency plans. That’s one finding in a new report from the Office of Personnel Management. The agency is charting the rise in telework per a 2010 law. Kate Lister is the president of the research and consulting firm Global Workplace Analytics. One bright spot she sees: More federal employees can, at least on paper, work outside the office.

The General Services Administration has landed its first big federal agency customer for its nascent OASIS project. The Air Force has signed up. It will make OASIS its primary path to professional services. Randall Culpepper is the Air Force’s program executive officer for combat and mission support. He tells Federal News Radio’s Jared Serbu, the decision is part of the Air Force’s push to tackle service contracting as a single enterprise.
