President Donald Trump’s budget proposal for 2020 will be out this week. This version may be known as the “skinny budget,” but it has a lot of fat to chew over. The administration promises what it calls a clear road map for a more fiscally responsible future, including adherence to budget caps that Congress enacted and can ignore at will. For more, veteran budget analyst David Berteau, CEO of the Professional Services Council, joined Federal Drive with Tom Temin.
