D.C. federal agencies reopen Thursday
Federal government offices in the D.C. region reopened today after a snow storm left pockets of the region blanketed in snow on Wednesday.
Federal agencies in the D.C. region are open Thursday, according to the Office of Personnel Management.
The announcement comes after a snow storm left the outer edges of the region blanketed in snow on Wednesday.
Feds were given the day off Wednesday after forecasters predicted up to 12 inches of snow for some areas. However, the snow largely bypassed the immediate D.C. area.
“Employees are expected to report to their worksites or begin telework on time,” according to OPM’s website. “Normal operating procedures are in effect.”
Federal agencies in the Baltimore area are also open Thursday, according to the Baltimore Federal Executive Board.
