45.8 percent of the federal workforce took the survey this year, about a 4 percent drop from last year’s rate of 49.7 percent. It’s the lowest participation rate for the FEVS over the past six years. Most survey participants came from federal employees working out of field offices rather than headquarters. About 60 percent of responses came from the field, compared with 40 percent out of headquarters.
