The number of vehicles in the Federal fleet is holding steady while demands on the fleet are increasing. Becky Rhodes, Deputy Associate Administrator for GSA’s Office of Travel, Transportation, and Asset Management in the Office of Governmentwide Policy, talked to me about the challenges of managing nearly 650,000 vehicles, adding new vehicles to the fleet through ARRA, and what agencies will learn at FedFleet 2009 July 26-30 in Chicago.
