Senate committee wants better, brighter federal employees

Hearing is one in a series on federal human resource issues.

Tomorrow afternoon, the Senate Homeland Security Committee holds a hearing on efforts to attract and retain the best and brightest to the federal workforce.

It’s the latest in a series of oversight hearings conducted by the panel focusing on a variety of federal human resource issues.

Recently, the panel also looked at the issue of how to train the next generation of federal agency managers.
