One NASA scientist is literally helping people see.
His amazing work to prevent and care for cataracts.
This scored him a seat as a finalist for the Sammies Awards.
Rafat Ansari is a senior scientist at NASA.
He says the risk for cataracts is especially high for astronauts in deep outer space because of high levels of radiation.
