With each passing year, it seems the federal government becomes more dependent on its enterprise IT networks for delivering services, sharing information and collaborating. Yet the costs of operating networks is rising, and agencies are under pressure to cut costs across the board. Pradeep Sindhu is the co-founder, director, and vice-chairman of the board of Juniper Networks, a maker of network equipment. He was in town yesterday to receive an award from ComputerWorld. The Federal Drive’s Tom Temin caught up with him and asked him about what’s ahead for networking and its costs.
