Looks like that report on “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” is going to come earlier than expected. The Defense Department said on Sunday that the report on the military’s ban on gays serving openly in the armed forces will be released November 30. The Washington Post reports Defense Secretary Robert Gates ordered the report to be released a day earlier than planned so Congress can consider it before they adjourn. Senators are scheduled to vote on a defense policy bill that includes language that would repeal the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy after the Thanksgiving recess.
