It appears government contractors can expect a flurry of public safety interoperable communications projects, as the FCC’s narrowbanding deadline draws near. A new report by INPUT estimates spending on PSIC projects will reach nearly $39 billion by 2015. This spending is by state and local governments, but it is stimulated by federal grants. Joining us to explain how this will work are Jeff Webster, a Senior Analyst for Justice, Public Safety and Homeland Security at INPUT and Kate Gollogly, who wrote the INPUT report.
