The school will be the first to open on the base since 1979
For the first time in 30 years a new school is opening its doors at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland. The ‘Imagine Andrews Public Charter School’ will serve kids from Kindergarten through fourth grade. It is the first school to open on the base since 1979. WTOP reports the school plans to add a grade each year. They hope to eventually serve 500 students from kindergarten through 8th grade.
